This was our Christmas present to Jared's step dad.
He lost his son this year, and they were both avid hunters.
I love the detail on the first tree in this one:

And for Jared's cousin, Matt, a fireman plaque, honoring him for
his choice to volunteer his life to help and save others.
This is probably one of my favorite pieces so far. One of my co-workers had a friend retiring from the Marine Corps and asked me to make a plaque for him. And so I did! Talk about a lot of detail!!!
And after seeing this one made, Jared's aunt asked me to make one for her son in-law.

Elizabeth is a very special girl. She was adopted by a close friend of our family
and this plaque will hang on her bedroom door. Kind of a way to really 'stake her claim'!
